FACILITIES:
Classrooms With State of The Art Infrastructure:
There shall be four classrooms to accommodate students admitted in each class. The room shall be well
ventilated with proper lighting system, built-in and portable black/green boards, equipped with Slide Projector,
Overhead projector, Computers, and television with CD, DVD player & LCD Projector.
Library:
Comfortable
seating arrangements for 1/3 of the total number of students and staffs. Proper
lighting,
heating and cooling arrangements depending on the climate. Sufficient number of cupboards, racks for proper
storing of books, magazines, reference books & medical journals etc. Will have audio visual aids along with
Internet facilities.
Laboratories:
Nursing Practice laboratory consists of six beds with modern chase Doll & C.P.R. manniquin.
Nutrition Laboratory will have facilities for imparting basic knowledge about food and for practice in cooking
food for the healthy as well as for the sick.
Community Nursing & Obstetrics laboratory will have all articles required for practicing nursing procedure in a
community set up.
Clinical Field:
The college is affiliated to SSKM Hospital, a super speciality, Govt. Institution of Kolkata with advance
technology. For Community Health Nursing CINI, Chetna Resources Centre, Village Amgachi 24
Parganas(south) is selected to provide a wide range of experience. For rural center, affiliation is with H C
Memorial Health School, Singur, Dist- Hooghly,to provide practical experience. The College is also affiliated to
institute of Psychiatry, Kanke, Ranchi for clinical experience in Psychiatric Nursing. Affiliation to " Antara
Village", 24 Parganas, Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital for paediatric nursing.
Transportation:
The college will provide transportation facilities for taking students to the attached hospitals as well as rural
training centres (Community Nursing), escorted by our teaching staff.
Hostel Facilities:
Hostel Facilities will be provided in two phases. In the first phase, 40 students will be covered and in the second
phase another 40 students will be covered. Each room will accommodate three students.There will be a
common dining, kitchen and recreation room. A full time warden and two teacher representatives will be
engaged to look after the internal administration and day-to-day discipline of the hostel. A well equpped
canteen will be provided to cater needs of all.
Physical Education:
Emphasis will be given to activities that encourage students to participate in sports and games. Extensive
playground area has been demarked to develop students's skill and form teams in cricket, football, badminton
and athletics. Facilities will also available for indoor games.
Extra Curricular Activities:
Effort will be made to identify talents and inclinations for constructive development. These include music, plays,
dance and extra-curricular activities such as elocution, debating, quiz, painting and drawing etc.
