Jurisdiction of the University:
B.Sc(Hons)Nursing: On the basis of the percentage of aggregate marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, english and Vernacular or any other language subject in Higher Secondary(+2) or equivalent examination. Candidates passed with only one language, i.e., English, will enter the marks of English twice, once in the space provide for Vernacular in the application form.
Eligibility Criteria
a. Citizens of India who have obtained the following qualifications shall be eligible to apply for the respective courses:
a1. Bsc.(Hons)Nursing: The residents for a continuous period of five years in West Bengal prior to the last date of application will be preferred. D.M./A.D.M./S.P./Additional S.P./Sub-Divisional Officer or any officer of or above the rank of/ D.C. Police/Deputy Secretary/Deputy Director, Govt. of West Bengal or M.L.A./M.P./Member of the Zila Parishad/ Sabhadhipati of Panchayet Samity/Gram Panchayet Pradhan/Municipal Commissioner/Councilor of Corporation in whose jurisdiction the candidates reside, are competent to issue certificate of residence which will have to be submitted at the time of counselling. In case a seat remaining vacant the seat will be offered to the candidates of other states of the union of India.
3. Method of Submission of application:

3.2 The candidate will, first of all, visit the university website www.thewbuhs.org through internet. She is required to go through the relevant 'Information Booklet' carefully and acquaint herself with all requirements regarding filling in the application form.
